Robyn + Chris | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

These two… they are so completely sweet! It’s their 10 year wedding anniversary, they have 4 beautiful kids, and they came to Santa Cruz for the weekend to have me do their photos and to celebrate!

And whats better then one proposal? Two! Chris completely adores his wife and it’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen!  Chris had called me earlier in the day before our shoot to tell me he planned to purpose to Robyn again to re-new their vows. Robyn had no idea. Near the end of our session he slyly set up a “shot” he wanted and the rest unfolded. You’ll see just what went down in the photos below. It was such a cool thing to document and I’m so happy I was the one to do it!! =D

And Robyn is such a rad chick! She is actually a fellow photographer that hails from the Sacramento area and she. Is. STUNNING!!!! Like seriously! I was so floored when I saw these pics as I was culling down their session! I had so much fun editing them! Almost as much fun as I did hanging out with her and getting to know these two a bit.

Glen + Bianca | Engagement Session | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

Oh my gosh!!! These two! I had such a blast with them and this was certainly one of my fav engagement sessions of the year! Amazing light, beautiful backdrops, and such a great couple like these two is sure to make for an awesome session!

They’re both musicians and when Bianca asked if they should bring their instrument along I was like “Um…Duh, YES!!” I love that idea!!! Perfectly who they are and since I’m quite the fan of music myself, I was instantly excited and photo idea’s started bouncing around in my head. Not to mention it helps that these two were pretty adventurous! They tromped all over the place with me and we even managed to anger a loose cow in our wonderings (don’t worry, we totally survived). I’m pretty sure it’s penned back up by now though. =)

I really enjoyed getting to know these two and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding this year! I always love when I can walk away from a session feeling like I just made a couple new friends.

Y’all just need to see how awesome this all was!

Jasmine + Michael | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

There are so many good things I could say about Michael and Jasmine. I just adore them. They have been the most sweet couple to me and exactly the type of people I love to work with. They laugh together all the time and their love for one another is so evident. They were married at Stones and Flower’s Retreat in Ben Lomond  and with the help of their family and friends, they made it a truly awesome handmade wedding!  Michael actually made the lighting installation with the Edison bulbs in the barn. HE MADE IT! How cool is that!? Jasmine’s sister made all of the dream catchers as wedding favors and super rad decor. And the Bridesmaids dresses!!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?  ADORE! It might also be because I super love ModCloth.com and that’s where the dresses came from. I was giddy to say the least!

They chose to do a first look in the barn and it was such a sweet and beautiful moment. You can see by the look on Michael’s face when she walks down the isle during their wedding ceremony that doing a first look didn’t take away from that at all. It was all so special. Their wedding was so them and so full of love and I felt really honored to have been there. I super <3 those two!!!

Diane + Raymond | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

Diane and Raymond’s wedding was so chic, beautiful, and fun! Those same words describe them perfectly as well I think!! They were surrounded by their family and friends as they tied the knot at the beautiful Los Altos History Museum.

The way these two laugh together and love on each other is just so sweet and you can tell that they have found their perfect match in one another. It was an amazing day for an amazing couple full of so much love. I’m so over the moon happy for these two and I feel blessed to have been apart of their wedding day! <3

Lydia + Klem and Their State Side Reception | Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

I felt so honored that I could document my friends, Klem and Lydia, reception at Big Daddy’s Antiques in San Francisco this last weekend!  They were married in Paris the week before (I know, I’m jealous too) and came back home to the states to throw a reception to celebrate with all their friends and family here. I’m honestly at a loss for words… It was so epic! I suck at culling down my images but I honestly did my best here. All around it was just such an amazing day filled with a couple who I’m just over the moon happy for, and even more awesome people….Just…you should really see this. Trust me.

P.S. I want to photograph every wedding at Big Daddy’s Antiques till the end of time. Just sayin…
