Here are some of my fav shots from Nick and Flora’s wedding! This is for sure one of the coolest weddings I’ve ever had the honor of photographing. Not to mention these two are some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. I almost cried so many times at this wedding. That’s when you know it’s one of the amazing ones. So much love. So much heart. It was so awesome.

Jim and Rochelle were married last Saturday at her parents home in Aromas. The place she was born. It was such a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding! Jim and Rochelle were surrounded by their friends a family as they tied the knot! It was just such a special time and I’m happy I could be there. I wanted to share my favorite images from the day! =)

I post of some of my work on my Instagram and imagine my surprise when I got this comment on one of my maternity session photos I posted!
“@bluelacephotography I’m reaching out from Arkansas after I searched for Santa Cruz Photographers! I’m planning a visit next week and wanted to chit chat and see if you’d be interested in trading out sessions?”
I checked out her work and thought it was so beautiful! Me and my husband have not done a full session since our engagement session 7 years ago! So we were due to say the least! Here are the maternity photos I did with Erika to help welcome her baby girl! Since she isn’t close to the beach anymore it was a must! And how beautiful it was!!
I had a great time styling this maternity session for a local women’s photography group I’m apart of. It was so fun to do and I got to stretch some of my other creative muscle with draping her dress around her so it fit her perfectly, and making the fun floral wreath for her to wear. Amy (our model) is a fellow photographer in the group (and my SIL!!) and was kind enough to let us photographer her. She is totally stunning!!
I had the honor of photographing John and Heather’s wedding in Connecticut last July. Their wedding was completely true to who they are and those are the weddings I love! Homemade whisky, muppets, and a little cigar bar made this one of the most unique and fun weddings I have ever shot! Also Heather is a dancer and she did a whole choreographed dace with her dad that was way beyond awesome! My brother Matt was also one of the groomsmen so it was a little fun family trip for me too.
It was such a cool experience and I love John and Heather to pieces! It’s cool to have different friends scattered around the country. One day when I fulfill my dream of road tripping around the USA in my vintage VW bus (that I will own one day! Haha!), I’ll have lots of rad friends to go see!
