My little nephew Levi is in-love with dump trucks, but is definitely in-like with trains (Thomas the train to be exact). So what better place to do my brother‘s family shoot at then our local little train station. When my sister-in-law Amy said she wanted to do it there my heart did a little skip! This place has been here since before my brother’s and I were born and it’s part of our childhood memories. It’s amazing, weird, and awesome to see second generations becoming familiar with places and things that were apart of my childhood. There’s something really special about it.
I couldn’t be more happy that they asked me to do their family photos this year. Not only did I get to do their photos but my SIL is a fab photographer. Something about another photographer liking your stuff enough that they ask you to do their photos is kinda awesome! My family takes up quite a bit of real estate on my love-o-meter (would you like some crackers with that cheeeessseee? MUHAHAHAHA), so this was nothing short of a joy for me to do.
